Are you truly trusting in Jesus, or are you simply fascinated by what He can do?

In John 4, we see a striking contrast between those who witnessed Jesus’ miraculous signs yet failed to believe and the Samaritans who heard His Word and embraced Him as the Savior of the world.

In this sermon, Pastor Jason challenges us to examine the foundation of our faith. Are we relying on our own understanding, the opinions of others, or what God has revealed in His Word? Do we trust Jesus only when He answers our prayers as we expect, or do we believe Him even when life doesn’t make sense?

True faith is more than admiration, religious activity, or a momentary profession of belief. It is a continual reliance on Jesus Christ—trusting His finished work, resting in His love, and believing His promises.

“Mature faith believes the Word. Shallow faith always is looking for a sign.”

Be encouraged to stop measuring your standing before God by your own performance and instead rest in the righteousness, forgiveness, and acceptance found in Christ alone.
