What are you giving your life for? Are you living to proclaim the glory of Christ and share the good news of salvation with those who are lost?
In Luke 14:15–24, Jesus tells the parable of the great banquet, revealing His gracious invitation to those who are poor, needy, and undeserving. While some reject the invitation because of their earthly priorities, the master sends his servants to bring others in so that his house may be filled.
In this sermon, Micah explores the compassion and generosity of Christ, the danger of rejecting His gracious offer of salvation, and the responsibility of every believer to proclaim the gospel. Just as the servants were commanded to go out and compel others to come to the banquet, Christians are called and commissioned to point others to Jesus Christ.
The gospel is the power of God for salvation. We cannot earn our place at His table through good works or personal merit. Salvation is a gift of grace, made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Are we allowing the love of Christ to compel us to share this glorious news with others?
